OLIVER
BY NIMFA BECK
The Little Red Talk
Nakarinig si Alessandra ng tatlong katok sa pinto. “Enter!” mahinang sabi niya.
Pumihit ang seradura at bumukas iyon. A plump and beautiful middle aged woman entered the room, she looked familiar. Ahhh, she looked like Aira, beautiful and short with blond hair. Except her eyes were blue. “There you are my child.” Naupo ito sa harap niya at ginagap ang kamay niya. “I can see that Oliver cannot wait,” her voice was so soft and encouraging.

Namula siya. She was thinking that since Oliver thought that she was experienced, inisip nitong wala nang mawawala sa kanya o wala nang dapat pag-ingatan. She really made a mess out of all this.
“My name is Aldrienne Kervy St. Vincent, Duchess of St. James. Puwede mo akong tawaging Auntie Aldrienne, as that would Oliver normaly do. On rare and formal occasions, Lady Aldrienne would suffice. But remember that you will still be my princess.”
Tumango siya.
“You know, the first night between husband and wife as long as it is bind by love, you know that everything will turn out right.”
But it was not. This wasn't a love match.
“And all you have to do is lie down and wait.”
Ugh! What? “Lie down and wait? I’m not going to do anything?”
Sunod-sunod ang iling nito. “No, no, my dear. Oliver is three-and-thirty years of age. He knows everything. You will just lie down in there and feel.”
She confusedly stared at the woman.
“Now, there will be a little pain.”
“Pain?” She didn’t want pain.
“Yes, but it is not much, just like a bee sting.”
“I haven’t stung by a bee yet.”
“Ahhh…” Nag-isip ito. “Well, what about fire ants?”
Tumango siya, nakagat na siya niyon sa hardin ng kanilang mansion sa Maynila, it was not an excruciating pain, but not pleasant either.
“It was like that, but wider.”
“Wider?”
May kinuha ito sa tabi niya. It was the candle holder. It had a little died flame candle on top of it. “It depends, guessing with Oliver being a St. Vincent. They are well, uhmn… endowed?”
Hindi niya maintindihan ang sinasabi nito. Hawak pa rin nito ang candle holder. “What’s with the candle holder?”
“Well, I presumed you can compare them to this.” Ibinibigay nito sa kanya ang kandila.
Hindi niya iyon kinuha.
Aldrienne sighed. “My apology, this is the first time I do a little red talk. Because I only have a boy and a girl, Gregory and Aira, that is. And Aira is only in her second season on the marriage mart. And she thinks it’s not time yet.”
Tumango siya. “I understand.”
“Being St. Vincent and a Prince, Oliver will make you happy, her mistresses are happy with him. They almost didn’t want to part ways with him.”
She sat up straight at the mention of the mistresses.
Nahalata iyon ni Aldrienne. “Now don’t fret, my dear. Oliver will be marrying you and you will be the Princess. You will be a very important part of his life and you will have his ring on your finger. Remember that.”
Muli siyang tumango. She almost cry pero tinatagan niya ang sarili. She would rather have loyalty than just the ring.
“Remember also that one of the most important role is to give his Royal Highess an heir. That is one thing you have to work out.”
She nodded again.
“Now, I shall leave you alone.”
Tumayo siya nang tumayo ito.
“Shouldn’t you stay?”
She didn’t want to stay.
“Oliver told me that this will be your first night and you and him agreed.”
She stepped back and allowed Aldrienne to go. Bumilang siya ng hanggang sampu pagkalabas nito, then she walked to the door. But it opened up before she reached it.
"Oliver!"
